Buy a skipping rope and skip with your kids or your friends. Relive your youth and jump on a trampoline. Laugh and have fun! It will give you the motivation to lose weight because you’re guaranteed to go back and do it again.

Reward Yourself

What’s something you would love but wouldn’t normally do for yourself? Have a trip to a Spa? A mini-break? A decadent massage? A concert? A designer outfit? Well if you’re going to commit to losing weight, why not reward yourself for your hard work. Getting motivated to lose weight doesn’t have to be overwhelming. You just need to keep things simple and break your goals down into small pieces that are easy to achieve.     Your advice is great, but I for one have struggled with my weight my entire life. I feel like I have tried everything, without long-lasting success, and that at the end of the road of each diet or exercise regime whilst I’ve lost weight, I haven’t then been able to maintain that weight loss and keep it off continuously. In some instances it even slowly creeps back on and then I find I’m back to square one again, and even less motivated than before. Some people must be better at dieting than others I suppose… do you have any suggestions?
